Students sign a visual contract through movement. When this contract is complete they will have agreed to appropriately use their body and voice with imagination, concentration and cooperation.
Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) is a teaching method that improves critical thinking skills through teacher-facilitated discussions of visual images. VTS encourages participation through a group problem-solving process. It uses art to teach thinking, communication skills, and visual literacy.
Tableau- The name of this strategy comes from the term tableau vivant which means “living picture.” In this activity, students create a still picture, without talking, to capture and communicate the meaning of a concept.
